Who is this guy?

My wife and I graduated from the same high school in 1978 and have now been married for 31 years. We have 2 daughters now both married and starting their own successful lives and careers.

We have been very blessed in our lives, but that does not mean we didn’t have our share of ups and downs, just like everybody does. I have just always kept getting back up, when I got knocked down.

It is not your fault if life knocks you down,
but it is, if you decide to stay down!

I started my career at the age of 20 with nothing more than a dream and a copy of Zig Ziegler’s “See You At The Top”. My first year I was the top sales person in a six state region. I went on to become Sales Manager, Trainer and started my own company 3 years later. This company became one of the top distributors world wide for 10 consecutive years. I sold this company in 1998 and could have retired at the age of 38, and I did for about a year, but then I got bored.

So we started another company.

The other company we started became one of the largest home building & remodeling companies in Southern IL. I was also an IL state licensed lead abatement supervisor and over saw local rehab projects that were funded by government grants. I also spent two years overseeing a Corp of Engineers job at Fort Leonard Wood until its completion.

I have spent many years in the Sales, Marketing &  Contracting Fields, and I love both, so I found a way to do both, by selling, building and investing in real estate.

Everything I have sold I have used the same basic principles and they work, regardless of how or what you sell.

The internet has become one of the greatest marketing tools of all time. Many people new to marketing mistakenly believe the internet is a business. It is not a business; it is a tool. I have been using the internet for marketing before most people knew what the internet was. I bought my first computer with a hard drive in 1985 and was on the internet in the early 90’s. I admit I didn’t have a clue it would become the most powerful marketing tool of all time.

I also will admit I still do not have the technical knowledge that many people do and I do not want to. I just want to know where to find them when I need them.

The point I want to make is this:

It does not matter what your field or niche is, if you are a good marketer and salesperson you will be successful.

I have always loved training salespeople and I was good at it, that is purpose of this site; to help you acquire the skills & tools to be successful.

You will not find anything on this site that I have not tested or use myself.
